Integrated OMICS, Bioinformatics and Morpho-molecular Immunomonitoring Unit

To quantitatively address the effect of immune cell functions and their modulation within the tissue-specific microenvironment, the TPQ1 integrates lab and computational platforms at TRON, the Institute of Immunology, and the Institute of Pathology. It develops novel methods and technologies for high-throughput proteomics, transcriptomics, genomics, and bioinformatics, including methods for spatial, molecular, ultrastructural, and digital tissue-based research. TPQ1 provides the members of the Collaborative Research Centre with cutting edge technology platforms, an experienced infrastructure and the required expertise for data processing, analysis, and interpretation. TPQ1 provides access to the existing biobank of the University Medical Center Mainz and  serves as „translational bridge“ between basic and clinical research.
